Filmmaker Rohit Shetty and actor Ranveer Singh joined hands for the cop-drama Simmba, which was a hit and the two announced a collaboration for another action-packed comedy-drama, Cirkus. While the details of the film have been kept under wraps, the makers are planning to reveal the trailer with a massive launch in the first week of December.
Earlier, it was reported that the makers will be releasing the first trailer of the keenly anticipated movie in the first week of December and now the latest reports suggest that the team has finalised a date – December 2. It is being revealed that the makers of the drama have planned a massive trailer launch and the trailer will be attached to the movie screenings at the multiplexes until the release of the movie.
Set against the backdrop of a circus set up, the film is expected to hit the theatres during the Christmas season. The first-look poster of the movie featured Ranveer Singh in dual roles and the movie will also feature Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. Post the release of the trailer, the makers are likely to release big songs as well.
Helmed by Rohit Shetty and produced under the banners Reliance Entertainment, T-Series, and Rohit Shetty Picturez, the Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma starrer Cirkus is expected to hit the big screens on December 23.
