Shah Rukh Khan has been on a self-imposed sabbatical for quite a long now and his fans have been eagerly waiting for him to announce his next project. While there have been numerous rumours about his next Bollywood flick, no project received any confirmation. However, the latest news about Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie has some weight to it.
According to a report, Shah Rukh Khan’s next is said to be an out and out masala action drama which will be helmed by Atlee Kumar. Recently at an event to promote Atlee’s upcoming directorial Bigil, his fellow director Harish Shankar confirmed the collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee Kumar and said that the news will be out soon.
“I don’t know how immediately it’s going to happen but I am praying to all the gods to make it happen that Atlee sir is going to direct King Khan (aka) SRK. Being a huge fan of SRK, I am waiting for this combo so that I can also come for that function and see SRK. I am a huge fan of King Khan,” said Harish Shankar. On the other hand, Atlee who was also present at the event gave his nod to the news by passing a nice smile to Harish’s comment.
While the news still has to be confirmed by Shah Rukh Khan which is reportedly going to happen on his birthday, i.e. 2 November. Meanwhile, other reports suggest that Atlee is getting paid a whopping amount of 30 crore INR to direct the actor.
