Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja is one of the most loved and successful horror-comedies in Bollywood and after a decade, the makers of the movie have decided to roll out a sequel. While Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani have been roped to take the mantle forward, fans have been speculating cameos of the characters from the first instalment.
Director Aneez Bazmi earlier hinted that two popular tracks of the original movie will be recreated in the sequel and in a recent interview, the filmmaker hinted that the recreated version of Aami Je Tomar might feature Vidya Balan reprising her character from Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
There are also rumours doing rounds that Akshay Kumar might make an appearance in the second part of the much-loved franchise and now rumours of Vidya Balan joining the crew are creating more buzz around the project. While the fan power of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani have been increasing exponentially, the addition of Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the upcoming psychological drama will definitely give it a huge boost at the box office.
Helmed by Aneez Bazmi, the sequel to the blockbuster 2007 thriller film is slated to a release on 31 July 2020 with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani as protagonists.
