The classic comedy-drama, Hungama, which released on the silver screen in the year 2003, was a blockbuster. While the movie has become a cult for the comedy lovers, the fans can rejoice with the unexpected sequel to the franchise that will be releasing soon.
Shilpa Shetty, who is playing a crucial character in the upcoming comedy flick, recently shared the first look poster of Hungama 2 on her social media handles while wishing Meeran Jaaferi on his birthday. The long-legged actress captioned, “Presenting the new poster of #Hungama2! Gear up for confusion, laughter, and entertainment unlimited. Also, wishing @meezaanj a happy, ‘Hungama’-filled birthday.”
In the movie poster, Meeran Jaaferi can be seen winning the hearts of the leading ladies, Pranita Subash and Shilpa Shetty, while the veteran comedian, Paresh Rawal, promises a quirky twist to the love story. Priyadarshan, who helmed the first instalment of the Hungama franchise, is all set to break his self-imposed sabbatical years of 7 in the Bollywood industry and will be wearing the director’s hat.
The movie has an ensemble cast of Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Meeran Jaaferi, and Pranitha Subhash among others and the movie is slated to release on the 14th of August 2020. With filmmaker Priyadarshan onboard, we are expecting nothing less than a laughing riot in the movie theatres.
