Television actress Saumya Tandon has been an integral part of the sitcom, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain!, and after completing her tenure of 5 years, she has decided to bid adieu the show. The greatly loved comedy-drama has been getting good TRPs for half a decade and Saumya Tandon has been playing the character of Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra (Anu), a modern wife who leads grooming classes in Kanpur.
Saumya has received recognition and love for her portrayal of Anu and after competition of 5 years, she has decided to move on in search of better career opportunities. Saumya clarified that the reason for her quitting is not monetary or the Coronavirus scare. The actress mentioned that she wants to experiment and grow her career after getting a considerable growth with Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai!. Saumya also added that she is not after a stable income anymore.
Saumya Tandon marked the end of her association with the sitcom with shooting on the last day of her notice period. Recently, the actress had revealed that the designer who personally selected all her wardrobe for the show tested positive for the Coronavirus. However, she clarified that COVID-19 plays no part in her decision. Currently, Saumya Tandon has no projects in hand but she wishes to take new risks out of her comfort zone.
