Kangana Ranaut has been under the spotlight for months in links with the ongoing protest to bring justice to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. While the probe in the alleged suicide case turned up a drug angle, Kangana Ranaut claimed that many A-lister of Bollywood are involved in drugs and requested to investigate them as well. Meanwhile, there has been a constant tension between the actress and the Maharashtra government in relation to the accusations made by the actress.
After a recent exchange of words between Kangana Ranaut and a political leader, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said that Mumbai Police will probe Kangana Ranaut’s links with drugs. The probe is said to be based on an interview by Adhyayan Suman years ago. Adhyayan, who used to be in a relationship with the actress, had claimed in the interview that she used to take drugs and even forced him to try cocaine. In response to the statement by the Home Minister of Maharashtra, Kangana has made an offer to the former.
Taking to her social media handle, the Bollywood actress publically challenged to investigate her connections with drugs and wrote, “I am more than happy to oblige Mumbai Police and Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Please do my drug tests, investigate my call records if you find any links to drug peddlers ever I will accept my mistake and leave Mumbai forever, looking forward to meeting you.”
On the other hand, in the ongoing probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, actress Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by NCB in links with drugs after interrogation sessions for three days in a row.
