The team of ‘Zero’ released the official trailer of one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies of the year on the special occasion of Baadshah Khan a.k.a Shahrukh Khan’s birthday.
Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Anand L Rai brings you the extravagant love story of a dwarf man played by Shahrukh Khan this Christmas. The trailer says a lot, yet doesn’t give much away about what and how this larger than life love story shall pan out.
Shahrukh’s Baua Singh is a 38 year old dwarf man who is full of life with a quirky wit, falls in love with a physically impaired Aafia played by Anushka Sharma, a NASA scientist. However, in spite of knowing that his life with Aafia would be that of equals, he chooses to be part of a superstar’s life he is a fan of, played by Katrina Kaif in a character which is a reel life spin off of her real life personality.
Everything comes crashing down when Katrina throws him out of her life calling him to be a nothing, but a Zero. We also see glimpses of Aafia looking distorted yet determined in her bridal attire. Its the end of the trailer that makes one wonder what is actually going on? Baua with a slight humor says, “He has heard in stories about true lovers getting even moon for their love, but he ended up taking it quite literally”.
The trailer surely has one excited and intrigued. The movie will also see some special appearances by multiple Bollywood stars, including Late Sridevi who completed her shoot for Zero, before her untimely death in Dubai.
‘Zero’ hits theatres all over on December 21.
