Actress Aditi Rao Hydrari yearns to entertain her fans and the audience on the big screen even though she believes that OTT is doing an amazing job.

For the actor, there is certain magic associated with the theatres, which has always been present there and will never leave. There are various feelings like childhood nostalgia which draws her to the theatres only to never leave and become a part of that world, although OTT platforms have become prominent today with mind-blowing content and scripts.

Aditi mentions in an interview that the said platform has given a lot of work to people in the industry.

For an actor, there are so many ways to perform on it and even, for directors, writers, and everyone else included OTT has provided the industry with a wider scope. She predicts there will soon be a time when both the platforms match their levels.

Even though she is looking forward to getting back to the theatres but she thinks that the OTT is a very powerful platform in its own way and will be valued just as much as theatres in the coming times.

Additionally, she believes that the type of content which is on roll, on both platforms is diverse. Directors and writers are making new world stories. While theatres are more structured for a producer and appear to be larger than life, OTT deals with completely different pressure.

Being an artist she feels the same passion and love for what she performs, only the mediums are different. Hence, to her, it doesn’t make a difference in her performance. She believes that there can be more variety and topics upon which films and shows are being made which may not be conducive to the theatre.

The actress is presently featured on the OTT-released film Ajeeb Daastaans, and will soon appear in the Tamil film Hey Sinamika, Maha Samudram.
