Indian actor and filmmaker Ajay Devgn who was last seen in the thriller drama, Runway 34, is all prepared for his next directorial venture with the Hindi remake of the Tamil-language action thriller, Kaithi. The high-octane, strongly-emotional drama titled Bholaa will feature himself and Tabu in the lead roles.

Bholaa will be Ajay Devgn’s fourth directorial project with the recent being Runway 34 and he is set to finish principal photography on his fourth directorial Bholaa by August 20. “Well the preparation was done earlier on. It was just a question of getting behind the camera again and saying the three magic words-Lights, camera, action,” Devgn said when asked how he managed to shoot the film so quickly post the release of his April release Runway 34.

Released in 2019, Kaithi revolves around the story of an ex-convict, who endeavours to meet his daughter for the first time after leaving prison. However, his attempts are interrupted due to a drug raid and he comes to the aid of the police when they are attacked by a gang of smugglers. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Kaithi featured Karthi alongside Narain and Dheena.

On the other hand, Ajay Devgn shared screen space with Rakul Preet Singh, Amitabh Bachchan and Aakansha Singh among others. He will next be seen in Indra Kumar’s Thank God with Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in the key roles.
