Akshay Kumar has been one of the busiest actors in the town for decades and despite the ongoing pandemic, Akshay has all his dates booked for the next two years. While the actor finished filming his upcoming spy thriller, Bell Bottom, from scratch to finish in the lockdown, the movie recently grabbed headlines when it was reported that the actor has let go of 30 Crores from his fee.

Bollywood’s Khiladi recently hiked his fees for the releases of 2022 but according to a popular tabloid, Akshay reduced his fee for Bell Bottom by 30 crores INR when the producer, Vashu Bhagnani made a request. According to the published report, the makers of Bell Bottom requested the actor to scale down his acting fees because of the uncertainty in the movie release and the rise in the budget due to the pandemic crisis. Akshay Kumar reportedly accepted the request of Bhagnani. However, the actor took to his social media to debunk the news.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay retweeted the news of the tabloid and brushed it as another fake report. “What waking up to FAKE Scoops feels like,” wrote the actor in his retweet.

Talking about the movie, the period spy thriller Bell Bottom features Akshay Kumar as the protagonist with Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor and Anjali Anand playing key roles. Helmed by Ranjit Tiwari, the movie is slated for a theatrical release as of now.
