Bateman was to direct the big feature film for Apple TV+ but he decided to part ways with the production house, These Pictures.

According to a Deadline report, Jason and the studio have decided to reunite for another project in the future if their visions align but for Artemis, These Pictures will be moving forward with another filmmaker to helm the high-budgeted drama. Meanwhile, Johansson is producing the feature project with Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn through their These Pictures production company, which commissioned and developed the script.
