Ayushmann Khurana’s movie ‘Badhaai Ho’ continues to create magic at the box-office and has broken the records of SS Rajamaouli’s masterstroke Bahubali 2: The Conclusion.

The movie featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra in the lead has entered the 200 crore movie club of 2018.

The movie collected around 158 crores in India and earned 43 crores at the global box offices.

 

‘Badhaai ho’ a comedy-drama by Amit Sharma is based on a middle-class family, where the children had to face embarrassment caused by the outcome of their mid aged parent’s romance. The humorous plot of the movie very smoothly reached the hearts of the audience with striking performances by Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sanya Malhotra and Surekha Sikri.

 

The movie did a splendid business in the initial weeks of its release where it collected 50 crores while it crossed a century on the 17th day.

 

The small budget movie has passed the gigantic movies like ‘Thugs Of Hindostan” and other comedy movies like Stree. Directed by Amit Sharma the movie has also enlisted itself in the Top 10 overseas Bollywood release of 2018.
