Working in the latest masterpiece by Christopher Nolan Tenet, veteran actor Dimple Kapadia made a soaring comeback. The film has proved to be a new start for her, she says.

“I have been here and I have always been here. If work comes along, yes I am looking forward to work more. This film (Tenet) has really infused life back into me. I really needed that adrenaline shot. You know like ‘come on, get up’. That is what it has done for me and yes I am looking forward to what all I am going to do in the future,” the actor shared in an interview with Hindustan Times.

According to her, working with Nolan was a dream come true and she considers herself very fortunate.  Although, first she was hesitant of auditioning since she doesn’t do auditions, but her grandchildren played a part in urging her to go for it, she mentioned.

She says she was terrified but later realised otherwise. “It was stupid of me because once you are in his hand, he takes care of everything. So, you just have to show up. He knows exactly what he wants from his actors” she says. Son-in law, Akshay Kumar also shared a picture of her with the acclaimed director to congratulate her.

Helmed by Christopher Nolan, Tenet featured John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, and Kenneth Branagh in the prominent characters. While the movie initially released on 26 August in the United Kingdom and September 3 in the United States due to the pandemic crisis. The sci-fi thriller released on December 4 in India and in the theatres now.
