Indian television’s famous and popular reality show ‘Splitsvilla’ where contestants come to find love while performing various tasks, aired its 11th season’s grand finale on Sunday which was won by ex-roadies and best friends Shruti Sinha and Gaurav Alugh.

The show hosted by Mtv VJ, host and producer Rannvijay and actor Sunny Leone, began last year in August. The winners beat Samyukhta Hegdge and Shagun Pandey to the trophy.

Shruti and Gaurav were probably the first pair in the whole of Splitsvilla seasons, who have won the trophy as best friends and not as a couple in love.

Despite of high competition and a lot of ganging up against the two in the season, the two managed to emerge as victorious winners by performing excellently in the tasks. Also, Shruti made a romantic connection with Rohan Hingorani.

Gaurav will soon be seen in ALT Balaji’s upcoming web series Kehne Ko Hai Humsafar’s season 2.
