Bollywood actor Genelia Deshmukh quit working in movies 10 years ago and her fans still miss her onscreen presence. After a decade, the actress has finally decided to make a comeback with her husband Riteish Deshmukh’s directorial debut, Ved. The couple will also be joined by Jiya Shankar in a key role.
Riteish Deshmukh, who has proved his mantle in both Hindi and regional cinema, is debuting as a director for a Marathi-language movie titled Ved and took to his social media handle to make the announcement. “After being in front of the camera for 20 years, I take a big leap to stand behind it for the first time. As I direct my first marathi film, I humbly ask you all for your good wishes and blessings. Be a part of this journey, be a part of this madness. वेड (Madness),” he wrote on Twitter.
