Filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Kajol have worked together to give a number of memorable and iconic movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, among others. However, after the box office clash between Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the two parted ways. After almost 12 years of difference, the filmmaker-actor duo are finally reuniting for an exciting project marking the debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan.

According to media reports, Kajol has signed Dharma Productions’ next venture and it will mark the acting debut of Saif Ali Khan’s eldest son, Ibrahim Ali Khan. While the details of the project are not available, it has been reported that Kajol has been approached to play a key role in the movie and will share the highest screen space with Ibrahim.

While nothing has been confirmed from either party so far, the report also added that the casting for the other pivotal parts of the forthcoming project is underway in Mumbai. So, we might need to wait a bit longer to get a confirmation or get more details about the anticipated project.

On the other hand, Kajol was last seen in Netflix’s trilingual family drama Tribhanga. She is currently busy filming her next, Salaam Vicky, with Vishal Jethwa in the lead. Helmed by Revathi, the film is centred around a true story of a mother and her son, Venky, who suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
