Selfiee, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, is a remake of the Malayalam film Driving License. This marks the first time the two actors will be appearing together in a film. The movie is produced by Dharma Productions and has generated significant interest due to its unique combination of leading actors. To heighten the excitement, Karan Johar has released a special motion poster of the film.
In the original film Driving License, Prithiviraj Sukumaran played the role of a popular superstar and Suraj Venjarammoodu portrayed a Motor Vehicle Inspector. According to the recent motion poster, Akshay Kumar will be taking on the role of Prithviraj, and Emraan Hashmi will be playing the cop.

The motion poster gives a clear idea of the intense confrontation that the two characters will have in the film. Producer and head of Dharma Productions, Karan Johar shared the poster on his Instagram and said, “Superstar aur Superfan ki aisi kahaani, aap ne suni naa hogi kahin! Dekhiye #Selfiee in cinemas on Feb 24th. (A story of a Superstar and Superfan like you’ve never heard before! Watch #Selfiee in cinemas on Feb 24th).”
Selfiee is a story of a Motor Vehicle Inspector who idolizes a superstar and agrees to aid him in a difficult situation, even if it means breaking the law, on the condition of meeting him in person. However, the encounter ends up in a dispute, causing conflicts in both their professional and personal lives.
Helmed by Raj Mehta, Selfiee stars Nusshratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty as the leading actresses. The movie is set to release in theatres on February 24th. According to reports, the trailer is expected to be released on January 19th.
