Bollywood heartthrobs Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are all set to give small town romantic comedy love stories their own flavor with Laxman Utekar’s ‘Luka Chuppi’ produced by Dinesh Vijan, Maddock Films.

Set in Gwalior and Mathura, the movie chronicles around the love story of a Television reporter played by Kartik and Kriti who plays his love interest. Much details about the movie plot hasn’t be revealed yet.

The team of ‘Luka Chuppi’ wrapped up their shoot in mid September. The movie is close to the ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actor, as a major chunk of the movie has been shot in his hometown Gwalior.

Since both the leads hail from small towns, the two had to go through some rigorous language and dialect training, especially Kriti to get into the skin of their characters and remain true to the story telling and execution.

The film also stars the very promising Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Vinay Pathak in pivotal characters. Their names are enough to give a solid backing to the film being worth watching and to be a complete fun ride.

The release date of the movie was announced on Tuesday morning. ‘Luka Chuppi’ is all set to hit the theaters on 1st March 2019.
