Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is all prepared to make his digital debut with the filmmaker duo, Raj and DK, on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video and we are expecting nothing but excellence. The actor walked out of a big banner movie to start filming the yet-to-be-titled web series and if the reports are to be believed, Kubbra Sait will be joining the Kabir Singh actor in his new venture.
Kubbra Sait is best known for playing key roles in web series such as Sacred Games, RejctX, The Verdict – State Vs Nanavati and she has also been a part of a couple Bollywood movies. While there has been no official announcement related to her onboarding in the highly-anticipated web series, her comic banters with the filmmaker duo and Shahid Kapoor hints at her involvement in the series.
While Shahid is preparing for his first digital outing, the reports also suggest that the web series will feature Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna in key roles. Raj & DK had earlier offered Vijay Sethupathi a major role in the popular web series, The Family Man, however, it never materialised for reasons unknown.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in the Hindi remake of the popular Telugu-language sports drama film, Jersey, originally led by Harish Kalyan.
