Actor Kushal Tandon took to his social media handle to demand a ban on the Chinese video app, TikTok, while blaming China for the world’s misery. While many accuse China of the current health and financial crisis in the form of Coronavirus pandemic, Kushal Tandon blamed TikTok for accumulating revenue from India and transferring it to China.

Taking to his social media handle, Kushal Tandon shared a note against the video platform and asked for a ban on the Chinese app. The actor also claimed that TikTok users are useless and have nothing to do in their lives. “China made Tlk tok for people who were useless and who had nothing to do , and look at us all haha ,every one is in TikTok, ban TikTok proud of never using this shit Tik tok. Ban Tik too (sic),” the note read as the actor captioned, “Ban Tik tok”.

Ban TIk tok ??

A post shared by Kushal Tandon (@therealkushaltandon) on

While his post went viral in no time and received humongous response, the actor had to disable comment section on his post to avoid negative comments targeting his mindset. Meanwhile, Vivek Dahiya took to his social media handle to support the mobile application and wrote, “When I was asked to ban/quit using #Tiktok because it’s “Made in China”. This note answers that and beyond. #Reflections #Perspectives #Mindsets #Psychology.”

Vivek Dahiya also shared a note at depth to share his views on Kushal Tandon’s take on TikTok. Vivek claimed that the founder of TikTok has nothing to do with the current viral outbreak and also stated the fact that a possibly effective cure for COVID-19, Hydroxychloroquine, is made either in India or China. “Under a nation-wide lockdown, social media is a great platform to spread messages of hope and unity. I am using my social Media platforms to entertain my friends, family and fans and in turn bring a smile and laugh,” Vivek Dahiya ended his note saying that using a social media doesn’t affect his national pride.
