Celebrating the strength of women, OTT giant Amazon Prime Video took to its social media handle to unveil the first look of its upcoming untitled series on the eve of International Women’s Day. The first look of the series featured Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha as a fierce cop, which also marks the digital debut of the Akira actor.

Announcing the Original series starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead, Amazon Prime Video India wrote, “There’s no limit to what women can accomplish. Our collective belief in this has only been reinforced time and again. And on the eve of #WomensDay, we’re taking things up a notch! Can’t wait for #Sonakshisinha to show us yet again how girls get it done Princess. Coming soon!”

Bankrolled by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films, the untitled series is helmed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, which also marks Reema’s second outing with the OTT platform after Made In Heaven. With the digital debut of Sonakshi Sinha, the series features Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah in prominent characters.

Sharing her excitement about the project, director Reema Kagti shared, “She(Sonakshi Sinha) plays a tough cop in the series, and it is a delight to see her sink her teeth into the skin of the character. I’m excited to collaborate with Amazon Prime Video once again and truly looking forward to bringing this show to audiences across the world.”
