Popular rapper and singer, Nicki Minaj, is all prepared to hang up the mic and settle down in her life. The rapper took to her Twitter account to announce her retirement on Thursday shortly after she featured in Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer.
Tweeting about her future plans, Nicki wrote, “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, ❌ in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. ✅ Love you for LIFE ?♥️? (sic).”

While her retirement announcement came as a shock to her fans, she had earlier hinted about her hanging the mic a many times. She pulled out of a show in Saudi Arabia to show support to women and gay rights a couple of months ago and she also cancelled her appearance at the BET Experience Concert.
While the rapper has urger her fans to keep repping for her, she will definitely be missed from the music industry.
