Shah Rukh Khan has been on a self-imposed sabbatical for years and his fans have been eagerly waiting to see him on the big screen again. While the actor earlier signed a couple projects, his next will be Siddharth Anand directorial Pathan, co-starring John Abraham as the antagonist. While the makers are currently working on the pre-production of the project, Shah Rukh Khan’s character in the movie is being worked upon.
As per the reports close to the development of the movie, Shah Rukh Khan will have multiple looks throughout the movie and for a significant screen presence, he will be reprising his long-haired look from his movie, Don 2. Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly growing out his hair for the same portion as he was seen supporting his cricket team in Dubai with a new look. The actor will also be reuniting with his Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone in the action thriller.
Shah Rukh Khan had given his nod for the project early this year but the production house kept it under wraps as they were saving it for a gala event commemorating the 50th year of Yash Raj Films. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the event never materialized. The makers have also shifted their selection of exotic locations abroad to Mumbai in view of the current scenario and the movie is expected to go on the floors in the month of November.
Helmed by Siddarth Anand, Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham will be pitted against each other in the actioner Pathan. Co-starring Deepika Padukone in the female lead, the movie is expected to hit the theatres by the end of 2021.
