After the tremendous success of Shershaah, fans of Sidharth Malhotra had high expectations for his future projects. However, his recent outing with Ajay Devgn, Thank God, failed to create the buzz and churn the coin mills at the ticket counters. Now, the fans have been eagerly waiting for his next, Mission Majnu, and the makers unveiled the first look poster of the actioner with a release date announcement.

Sharing the first poster of the keenly anticipated movie featuring Sidharth Malhotra, streaming giant Netflix tweeted, “Ek jaanbaaz agent ki ansuni kahaani.. MISSION MAJNU. Only on Netflix, 20th January” confirming the direct-digital release. While it was earlier speculated that the spy thriller will skip the theatrical release, a confirmation was awaited.

Inspired by true events, Mission Majnu transports you to the past to uncover one of India’s most important missions with Sidharth Malhotra playing the protagonist. The Pushpa fame Rashmika Mandanna will be sharing the screen space with Sidharth for the first time with Shantanu Bagchi donning the director’s hat.

The movie will be available for streaming on Netflix from January 20, 2023. Besides Sidharth Malhotra and Rashimka Mandanna, the spy thriller also features Kumud Mishra, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar and Zakir Hussain in key roles.
