Recently, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif went on to The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their upcoming Eid release, Bharat. However, being a part of the movie, Sunil Grover was also asked to join the star cast at the comedy show but he chose to skip.

Sunil Grover is one of the leading comedians of India and used to play multiple characters at The Kapil Sharma Show but made an exit after having an ugly spat with the host. Ever since he avoids working with Kapil Sharma and ignores him at public appearances.

When asked about his absence at the show, Sunil Grover replied that he didn’t feel like going to The Kapil Sharma Show. He further added that big names like Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were present at the show to promote the movie so there was no need for an additional element.

Talking about working with Kapil Sharma in future, he said that it might happen if it is written in his destiny. A little earlier, Sunil Grover also said that he doesn’t watch The Kapil Sharma Show or any other show that doesn’t feature him in it.

Bharat movie release

On the work front, Sunil will be seen playing the childhood friend of the titular character in the movie Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Ali Abbas Zafar directorial period drama will also feature Disha Patani, Tabu and Jackie Shroff in prominent characters. The movie will hit the theatres on the 5th of June.
