Featuring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead, the Kookie Gulati directorial gets a release date after a wait of months. The streaming giant Disney+ Hotstar released a short teaser of the upcoming movie along with the digital release date announcement.

Sharing a 34-second teaser, the streaming platform tweeted, “Introducing The Big Bull… The mother of all scams!!! Trailer out on 19th March. #TheBigBull releasing on 8th April, stay tuned! #DisneyPlusHostarMultiplex” While the movie trailer will be released on 19th March, the teaser is enough to hype up the scam given the success of the web-series, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, which was on a similar note.

The movie presented by Ajay Devgn will be released worldwide on the digital platform skipping the traditional theatrical release. Featuring Abhishek Bachchan as a Gujrati stockbroker, the movie is inspired by some of the shocking shifts that shook the financial fabric of India. It was earlier reported that the movie will be another take on the popular Harshad Mehta story but the makers have reportedly made some end-moment adjustments to make it stand out as unique.

Helmed by Kookie Gulati, The Big Bull stars Abhishek Bachchan alongside critically acclaimed actors like Ileana D’Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Soham Shah, Ram Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Saurabh Shukla. The crime-drama is all set to stream exclusively for the subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Disney+ Hotstar Premium on 8th April 2021.
