Amazon Prime Video’s original movie, The Tomorrow War, released recently and have been the crowd favourite with high octane action and mesmerising VFX. Although the movie received mixed reviews from the critics, it managed to live up to the expectation of an all-around entertainer and the makers are reportedly working on a sequel already.
According to a recent report, SkyDance and Amazon Studios are working on a possible collaboration for a sequel to the Chris Pratt starrer actioner, The Tomorrow War. The sequel is said to be a continuation of the original plot and will feature Chris Pratt, J.K. Simmons, Sam Richardson, Betty Gilpin and Edwin Hodge reprising their characters. If the plan works out, Chris McKay is likely to helm this project as well.
Featuring Chris Pratt, Sam Richardson, Betty Gilpin and J.K. Simmons, The Tomorrow War is the story of the present Earth providing military support to fight a war against an alien invasion in the future. While the fans enjoyed the movie for its action sequences, the story was a rip-off of many successful movies from similar genres.
