Mathukutty Xavier’s survival thriller Mili is a replica of his own Malayalam film Helen (2019). Ritesh Shah wrote the screenplay, which Boney Kapoor produced. The movie will premiere on November 4, 2022.
The first teaser for Janhvi Kapoor’s forthcoming survival thriller Mili was released only hours after the first look photos were revealed on social media by the production team. The titular character of the movie, played by Janhvi, becomes stuck in a storage freezer and must find a way out before she freezes to death.
The teaser opens with Mili shivering inside the freezer while she cuts rolls of duct tape. Someone (probably Mili) has been missing for four hours, according to a police radio that can be heard in the background alerting the force. Janhvi’s face, which is reddened by the intense cold as she battles to not only stay alive but also have her wits about her in it, is first glimpsed. Her co-stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa, who are equally concerned about Mili’s whereabouts, are briefly shown in the teaser. The freezer’s temperature is displayed at one time to be minus 16 degrees Celsius. The teaser ends with a cut shot of Mili opening her refrigerator to get a packet of milk from before she became trapped in the freezer.
The way Janhvi portrayed the hapless Mili in the teaser clearly pleased the audience. “This looks pretty fantastic!!!” said one. Her facial expressions are very wonderful. Her film preferences are incredible!” Despite having seen the original, several people claimed they were looking forward to this one.” I know it’s a remake, but I’m really delighted,” one commented. “Really hope that the movie is as wonderful as the preview,” another admirer remarked.
Janhvi had already shared the first poster and introduced Mili, her character, to admirers. In the image, Janhvi smiled and turned to face the camera. She was carrying a brown backpack and dressed in olive green clothing. Janhvi will play Mili Naudiyal, a 24-year-old BSc nursing graduate, in the movie. After an hour, she posted another poster, this one featuring Mili freezing inside the freezer.
