2. Mullum Malarum

Directed by Mahendran, Mullum Malarum is a story that revolves around two orphaned siblings and their struggles living on the streets. The movie starred Rajinikanth in the central character along with Shobha and Sarath Babu in prominent characters.

3. Sivaji: The Boss

Helmed by renowned director S. Shankar, Sivaji: The Boss is one of the most popular movies of Rajinikanth and took a different approach to take on corrupt officials. The movie stars Rajinikanth and Shriya Saran in the lead pair and marked 100th movie of the superstar.

4. Enthiran/Robot

Termed as a revolution in the Indian film industry, Enthiran was originally released in the Tamil language and was later released in Hindi-language with the title, Robot. The movie was directed by S. Shankar and it turned out to be a blockbuster.

5. Baasha

Helmed by Suresh Krissna, Baasha told the story of a common man trying to avoid violence but hell went loose when his brother gets into trouble with some goons. Starring Rajinikanth and Nagma in the leads, the movie is termed as one of the most popular movies of the actor till date.
