As easy as it may seem, a band that has too many hits pick finds it most difficult to pick that one song it may call absolutely special? The biggest boy band in the world right now reveals the blood, sweat and tears that goes into the making of the music while considering a reply.

This boy group from South Korea is popular to belt out universally bestselling dance numbers with perfect synchronisation in their movement in music videos like, “Fire”, “Not Today”, “Dope”, “Mic Drop”. The band members call for a toss-up between their 2018 song “Idol” and last year’s “ON” when it narrows down to selecting their hardest number.

For the seven-member band, it seems like a big task to come down to the count to two, given that they are yet to churn out more and this alone mesmerise their ever-growing fan base. They reveal that for them- the harder the job, the greater the satisfaction. J-Hope says that the choreography for “ON” was the toughest and they had to pay attention to a lot of things which included some technical aspects of the choreography and the overall vibe of the dance. SUGA and V too vouch for this.

The head vocalist, Jimin and the foremost in the dance line believe that considering the level of difficulty, it’s definitely ON for him as well. He says that the band hasn’t performed the song in front of their fans in person, so he really wants to show it to them sometime. Jung Kook says that this particular number has difficult moves and consumed a lot of stamina. As for RM, he cannot pick between the two “Idol” or “ON”. Jin may stand apart from the band but rightly thinks it was “Idol” for him. He seems certain the song was the most difficult because it called for constant movement with no break in between.

Presently with their new single “Butter” that has been breaking records, Bangtan Sonyeondan, are touching the skies of massive success with no other group doing that well today anywhere in the world. With their inclusivity, they are riding a wave that very few musicians have done in the history of popular music. The band has struck the world with a fresh appeal with their difficult but perfectly synchronised dancing skills and music they compose.

The one thing that they keep in mind while composing music, Suga believes, is that every aspect plays an equally important role. From trends, sounds and to the lyrics. A satisfying song comes out only when all elements fall into place.

Indeed, we believe that it’s fallen in place for them so far beginning in 2013 with phenomenal chartbusters that include “Just One Day”, “Run”, “Fake Love”, “Boy with Luv”, “Microcosmos”, “Spring Day” that preach a message of self-love or to forget the pain of loss and how they are melting hearts with their latest release, “Butter”.
