Marathi movie star Rinku Rajguru rose to an instant fame post her raw yet powerful stint in Nagraj Manjule’s 2016 tragic romantic flick ‘Sairat’. She also featured in the Kannada remake of the film, ‘Manasu Mallige’. Now the actor is ready for the release of her second Marathi movie Makrand Mane’s ‘Kaagar’, which went on floors in January this year.

Sairat was Rinku’s first experience in front of camera and she totally swiped all the nominations and awards that year. She even won special jury National Award for her masterful and heart wrenching performance in the movie.

Director Makrand Mane and Rinku both hail from the same hometown Akluj, where  Kaagar’s Mahurat pooja took place. The movie has been shot in Malshiras Taluka village. The team shared a beautiful video of Rinku preparing for a dance sequence in the movie ‘Kaagar’.
