Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar find themselves at a crossroads in their careers, contemplating the genre for their next collaboration. Despite the immense success of two action films in 2023, the duo is currently navigating the decision of whether to venture into the action genre once again or explore a different creative path.

A reliable source close to the project disclosed that Shah Rukh and Karan are indeed teaming up for their next project, with the likelihood of it being Shah Rukh’s upcoming venture. The two are engaged in a brainstorming process, exchanging various ideas to shape the blueprint for their collaboration. Karan, eager to delve into action filmmaking, is keen on directing an action film with Shah Rukh. However, Shah Rukh, having recently completed two consecutive action films, is not as enthusiastic about revisiting the genre. Simultaneously, after the experimental project Dunki, he is not inclined towards another experimental venture.

The ongoing discussions aim to formulate an idea that will stand out and become as memorable as the iconic collaborations between SRK and KJO, such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name Is Khan, and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
